The History of Friend to Friend

1986: Established to assure that services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault were available in Moore County.

1988: 24 hour hotline was implemented and a walk-in crisis center was opened.

1991: Shelter for abused women and their families opened - Haven House!
Approximately 100 individuals stay in Haven House each year.
